Operator: Emocean LLC. This notice describes the distributed iPhone 1.0(2) TestFlight beta and Android 1.0.0 being prepared for Google Play. Effective September 21, 2026.

On-device records

Pet names, photos, letters, moods, activities, reading progress, private notes and language preferences are stored on your device. The app does not automatically upload these private records to the operator or a translation service. Private features do not require an account. No advertising, analytics or tracking SDK is included. Android app data is excluded from cloud backup.

Exports and iPhone screen lock

When you choose to export or share, a PDF, memorial card or JSON backup is sent to the file location or app you select. Third-party copies follow that service’s policies and are not deleted by deleting records in LUO. If you enable screen lock on iPhone, iOS handles Face ID/device-passcode authentication; LUO does not receive facial data or your passcode. Screen lock does not encrypt exported files. Android 1.0.0 has no separate in-app screen lock.

Optional email and paper-book research

If you send an email, we receive your email address, sender name supplied by the email service, message and any attachments you choose. Support: emotionography@my-emo.com. The app’s optional paper-book survey goes to emoceansites.team@gmail.com and includes your preferred price range, not automatic attachments of journals or photos. Opening the email composer does not send a response. Participation is optional and is not an order or marketing consent.

Paper-book responses are used only for demand research and deleted when the research ends or within 90 days of receipt, whichever comes first. Support messages are used only as needed to resolve the issue and follow up. Request access, withdrawal or deletion through either email address. The email provider’s terms also apply.

Deletion

Use Delete All Records in the app’s settings to remove local private records. Deleting the app or clearing app or browser data can also remove them. Delete separately exported files at their destination. Backups include original photos and letters, so keep them secure.

Features not connected

The production community server, operator collection of private journals and private professional consultations are not publicly operated. A community request without a success confirmation has not been received. Before enabling those services, we will describe their data, purposes, retention, providers, consent and deletion controls.

Store testing and this website

Apple and Google process TestFlight or Google Play installation, testing, crash, feedback and transaction information under their respective policies. You do not need to include sensitive records in feedback. This static notice is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; its provider may process request information needed to deliver the website. This page has no separate analytics or advertising scripts, forms or cookies set by us.

Store transactions in the purchase-enabled release

In the release being prepared, Apple or Google handles payment and store-account authentication. LUO checks store-supplied product identifiers and purchase, approval, refund and entitlement status on the device to determine access. It does not receive card numbers, bank details or store-account passwords and does not attach private writing or photos to purchase data. The store processes transactions under its own policy and may provide the publisher with sales and order information needed for accounting, refunds and support.

On iPhone, a trial transaction clock may also be retained in the device Keychain. On Android, the free 72-hour trial is not a Google Play subscription; the app calculates it from a start time kept on the device, which may not be restored after uninstalling or clearing app data. We do not use this information to create a separate server-side user profile. The distributed iPhone 1.0(2) beta has no purchase function.

Production community and professional-consultation servers are not operated. The purchase-enabled release does not present these unconnected services as available.
